wilderness girl

have i said before how much we love the land we bought?  if not, for the record, we do.  it's true love.  while frank and the punk were out gathering wood last weekend, I was playing with the camera and my new lens (that's true love too!).

okay, so this isn't as pretty, is it sad that my compost pile needs to be weeded?

And more new pictures

Finally, spring comes to the North Country. We've been able to get a lot of clearing done.
Matt's done a ton of work in the past few weeks.

The driveway will wind through the woods and emerge between these bushes.

Matt and our nephew, Storm.

Oh stink, time really does fly!

Wow, I can't believe it's been almost two months since I posted new pictures. Matt's been doing a ton of clearing over at the land. I think that what is cleared now will be it. We don't want too much lawn to mow.
Here's pictures since the last time I posted.

The burning brush pile. Luckily everything was still wet so there wasn't much worry about grass fires.

Our dog, Finney. She used to be all black and white. No brown, you wouldn't know she was the same dog!
